THIS WORK IS SCHEDULED FOR PUBLICATION IN EARLY 2005.

This setting of the traditional, Catholic Christmas text was commissioned by the Hickory Choral Society of Hickory, NC.  A 15-minute, 4-movement work for SATB Chorus (no soloists) and large Orchestra (WWs in 3s), the piece is similar in cast to the composer's GLORIA and EXULTATE JUSTI settings; rhythmic, fanfarish material is contrasted by lyrical and introspective sections with much use of bright orchestral color and varying vocal texture.

The orchestration will be available on a rental-only basis from the distributor.  Although the choral music will be available only as a unified whole, the orchestration for the various movements may be rented separately.
