THIS WORK IS SCHEDULED FOR PUBLICATION IN EARLY 2005.

An extensive SATB choral-orchestral suite based on traditional, Christian hymnody, this arrangement was commissioned in 2003 by the Second Presbyterian Church of Indianapolis, IN.  Each movement contains a different hymn, developed and explored musically and there exists an optional, transitional narration for use between movements, if desired.  The structure of the suite is as follows:

    1.    All Creatures of Our God and King

     2.  Eternal God, Whose Power Upholds

     3.  Lift High The Cross

     4.  The King of Love My Shepherd Is

     5.  Guide Me, O Thou Great Jehovah / God of Grace and God of Glory

     6.  Hail To the Lord’s Anointed

     7.  Our God, Our Help In Ages Past

The arrangement is scored for medium-sized Orchestra (WWs and Brass in 2s, 3 perc, harp and strings) and the orchestration will be available on a rental-only basis.  Orchestration for the individual movements may be rented and performed separately although, for the time being, the choral music will available only in suite form,.
